Based on a sound piece by Mohamad Khalaf, SOCIETY AS A WORK OF ART metamorphoses 1940s urban archives using intricate 3D compositing and TouchDesigner. The work explores the tension between order and chaos; the visuals mirror the sound's journey from distorted noise back to the clarity of Beirut’s daily life. The film culminates in a transition from digital abstraction to a broader, more tangible perspective, zooming out from the chaos to reveal the collective movement of people as a singular, living masterpiece.
